Trick or Treat Night

This year for Halloween Lily dressed as Batgirl and Juliet chose to be Pocahontas.  They were adorable and so excited to trick or treat in our neighborhood.  Nana came too and the girls got lots and lots of candy.  I was very proud of them when, after a week of eating Halloween candy, they agreed to donate the rest!

Halloween Parties

Lily and Juliet had a great Halloween and each got to go to a party at the park and at school before the big night.  They wore their unicorn and monster costumes at the park and saved their new costumes for trick or treating.  Nana came for a visit and we had beautiful fall weather with all of the leaves just changing color!

Trick or Treating

After being cooped up in the house during the storm, the girls were very excited to be able to get out and trick or treat on Halloween.  Lily dressed as Supergirl in her cape and Juliet was Rapunzel, complete with a long blond wig!  They had fun glow necklaces and we all went out trick or treating together.  They were rather greedy about it and Juliet said she needed lots and lots and lots of candy.  They especially liked seeing  people's dogs dressed up in costume.  It was quite an adventure for them!

Happy Halloween

We had a good Halloween yesterday! Lily got to dress up for preschool and her class had a party and special treats. She dressed as a pirate and Juliet was little red riding hood. We all went trick or treating together and Jules was just as excited as Lily was two years ago, shrieking and asking for more, more, more. We were out for an hour and then came home and the girls helped hand out candy. They were so wound up it took a long time to get them to sleep!

Halloween

We all went out trick-or-treating this year, with Lily dressed as Ladybug Girl from the book series and Juliet as a princess. Lily was very excited about all of the candy and not shy about it at all. She actually went inside one house and Michael had to go in and retrieve her!

Trick or Treat

Lily had her first experience dressing up and trick or treating this year and she was very excited! She loved seeing all of the other kids in costume and was literally running after them shrieking with joy. What fun to visit houses where adults dressed up and handed out treats. When she checked out her loot her favorite treat was animal crackers because she didn't know what anything else was. It was quite an adventure for her!

Eight Months Old

At eight months old, Lily is a very affectionate baby who gives lots of hugs and kisses. She says "dada" and "mama" and holds her arms out when she wants us to pick her up!
