We had our Easter egg hunt inside this year because it was a rainy day, but we still had fun searching for eggs, finding little surprises, and eating way too much candy!
This year we had a beautiful day on Easter and the girls got to have a big Easter egg hunt in the backyard. We spent the afternoon outside, and then Lily and Juliet searched for the baskets the Easter bunny left them in the house. They had a lot of fun with it...and ate way too much candy!
Gramps and Mimi visited last weekend and we got a chance to celebrate Lily's, Juliet's, and Steven's birthdays all at once! Amy brought her baking supplies and the girls helped her make a Dora cake for Jules and a Sponge Bob cake for Lily and Gramps. The kids also got to make and decorate bunny Easter baskets in preparation for Easter. We have enjoyed having so many visitors this month!
Our little cuties had fun on Easter, although we missed seeing family this year! We decorated eggs and then hunted for the eggs and treats that the Easter Bunny left. After the girls found everything, they had eggs spread all over the floor as they sorted through their loot.
This Easter, Lily dyed eggs for the first time and went on an Easter egg hunt at Grammy and Grandpa Voorhees' house. Ryan and Michelle came to visit with their kids and got to meet the week-old Juliet. It was a beautiful day and the cousins had fun playing outside together.
